Terms and Conditions

Limited Warranty

Bold Data Technology, Inc. ("BOLD") warrants to the original purchaser ("Customer") that each BOLD-manufactured product ("Product"), when installed and used in accordance with applicable instructions, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the duration of the warranty period stated on BOLD's invoice (the "Warranty Period"). "Product" refers exclusively to items designed and manufactured by BOLD and does not include third-party hardware, software, or components. Software supplied with a Product is provided strictly on an "As Is" basis unless governed by a separate software license.

For Products found defective during the Warranty Period and returned under a valid Return Materials Authorization ("RMA"), BOLD, at its discretion, will: (1) repair the Product, (2) replace it with a new, refurbished, or functionally equivalent unit, or (3) issue Customer a credit equal to the Product's then-current value.

To receive warranty service, Customer must: (i) provide written notice to BOLD within the applicable Warranty Period describing the claimed defect, (ii) follow BOLD's RMA procedures for return shipment, and (iii) allow BOLD to verify that the reported issue is covered under this Limited Warranty.

Third-Party and Component Warranty Pass-Through

Systems, components, or peripherals not manufactured by BOLD—including servers, workstations, storage devices, and other hardware sourced from third-party manufacturers—are provided solely with the original manufacturer's warranty, if any. Such warranties are passed through to Customer to the extent permitted, and BOLD makes no independent warranty or guarantee regarding these items. Warranty claims for non-BOLD products may be directed by BOLD to the respective manufacturer's support and RMA process.

Warranty Void Conditions

This Limited Warranty does not apply to defects or failures resulting from misuse, mishandling, improper installation, unauthorized repair or modification, operation outside recommended environmental conditions, electrical disturbances, neglect, or any other external cause. The warranty is void if BOLD determines that a Product shows signs of tampering, unauthorized changes, missing or altered identification labels, physical damage, or evidence of repair by parties other than BOLD.

Warranty Limitations

Except as provided herein, BOLD provides no other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Where such limitations are not permitted by law, the duration of any implied warranty is limited to the Warranty Period. Certain jurisdictions may restrict or disallow these limitations; where so, they apply only to the extent permitted.

Unless expressly modified herein, BOLD's standard Terms and Conditions of Sale govern all Product transactions.

Non-BOLD Products and Software

Products incorporating third-party parts, accessories, software, or subsystems are covered only by the original manufacturer's warranty, if available. BOLD does not warrant compatibility, performance, or functionality of any third-party items beyond the pass-through of the manufacturer's warranty.

No Warranty on Consumables

Consumable items—including but not limited to batteries, fans, thermal materials, removable media, and cosmetic components—are not covered under this Limited Warranty unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Return Materials Authorization ("RMA") Process

Before returning any Product for warranty evaluation or service, Customer must obtain an RMA number from BOLD and follow the return instructions provided. Customer must supply the invoice number, invoice date, Product model, serial number, and a description of the issue when requesting an RMA.

All returns must be shipped prepaid in original or equivalent secure packaging, with the RMA number clearly visible on the exterior of the shipment. BOLD may refuse any package lacking a valid RMA number or received after the RMA authorization expires. If BOLD determines that a returned Product is non-defective or that the warranty is void, diagnostic or handling fees may apply.

Customer is responsible for backing up data prior to shipment. BOLD assumes no liability for data loss or restoration.

Warranty Period

Systems and components carry a limited warranty of 30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or 3 years, as specified on the applicable invoice or packing list. The stated period defines the exclusive warranty coverage for the Product.

Labor Warranty

The Labor Warranty covers general product support, basic troubleshooting, one-way shipping for authorized RMAs, and standard handling. Labor associated with replacing or repairing parts that are out of warranty is excluded and may incur additional service charges.

Parts Warranty

The Parts Warranty covers replacement or repair of defective components subject to availability in BOLD's inventory. If replacement stock is unavailable within 30 days, BOLD may elect to repair the Product or provide a functionally equivalent refurbished unit.

Advance Cross-Ship

Where permitted by BOLD's policies, Customer may request advance cross-shipment of a replacement Product. The original item must be returned to BOLD with a valid RMA and received within 30 calendar days of the replacement shipment. Failure to return the defective unit within the required time frame will result in Customer being billed for the replacement Product.

Return for Credit

Products that do not meet specifications upon arrival may be eligible for return for credit ar BOLD's sole discretion if: (i) Customer requests an RMA within 30 calendar days of the invoice date, (ii) the Product is received by BOLD within 10 calendar days after RMA approval, and (iii) the Product is returned complete, unused, and in like-new condition. A restocking fee of at least 15% will apply to Products returned without defect or returned incomplete.

Out-of-Warranty Service

At Customer's request, BOLD may provide out-of-warranty repair services subject to additional labor, parts, shipping, and processing charges. BOLD will provide an estimate upon request, and service will proceed only with Customer approval.
